New neighbors

Ducklings as yellow as the pollen that blankets everything in Atlanta in Spring.

  2. She was not pleased I was so near to her – hissed at me like crazy. One of many ducks that live on the lake behind my building (it's called the Duck Pond – go figure) and they are so tame the waddle across the roads, as do the geese, and we all stop our cars and wait for them to cross. As you can imagine the lake is a wonderful thing to have in the neighborhood.

  3. Mom looks like a Muscovey breed. They fly. Little ducklings are the cutest fowl, I think.

    1. donna baker, thank you. There are a couple of breeds of duck, I think, with broods well into the fall. As to the geese which I adore the neighbourhood seems to prefer to make them unwelcome – the stroller brigade,

  4. Simply adorable! I'm waiting for the Canadian geese's little ones to appear in my part of the world. Should be soon.
